With 34 years in the industry, Darci's experience in title, settlement, mortgage, and real estate allows her to bring a uniquely comprehensive perspective to the Journey team. Originally from Maryland, Darci spent her childhood growing up across several states, ultimately landing in Virginia where she's lived for over 30 years. A graduate of Oakton High School, Darci began her experience in the title industry as a Post-Closer in 1989, advancing into her role of a Settlement Officer, followed by an Underwriter in 1999, and ultimately moving into team management. As a licensed Real Estate agent in VA as well, Darci brings an extensive understanding to her role, with personal knowledge of the ins and outs of the real estate journey from several different perspectives. This is evident in her work ethic, as she is skilled at creative problem solving and known for her strong attention to detail.
Darci loves spending free time with her daughters and Fiance, and lives a very active lifestyle. You might find her hiking Belle Isle, camping, gardening, traveling, exercising, cooking, reading, or enjoying an outdoor concert. Darci is also passionate about animal rights and welfare, volunteering often at the SPCA, and enjoying a mostly vegan lifestyle.
