As a Realtor and former Director of an RVA-based real estate brokerage, Ben has a deep understanding of what it takes to provide a cohesive settlement experience for buyer, seller, and real estate professional. Originally from Venice, FL, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in addition to VA Real Estate Salesperson and VA Title Producer licenses. Ben’s prior careers in territory management with Altria Group and owning a small business in his twenties developed in him a drive to analyze complex problems and build creative solutions. A local real estate mentor continued to fuel that fire, and when the two began dreaming of the perfect title company, the idea of Journey was born.
Ben lives with his wife Lisa in the Forest Hill neighborhood. He is a proud 1st Class Petty Officer Boatswain’s Mate with the United States Coast Guard Reserve, and regularly spends time throughout the year training with his shipmates. As an active Realtor, he prides himself on negotiating hard for his clients and providing excellent service. In his free time Ben likes to read, hike, or enjoy a good beer, bourbon, or burger.
